Abstract

Our previous study had demonstrated cytotoxicity of gallic acid on testicular cells with increasing the intracellular production of hydrogen peroxide. In the present study, the Panax ginseng root aqueous extract showed the cytoprotective effect on gallic acid-induced toxicity in TM3 mouse Leydig cells with decreasing the intracellular production of hydrogen peroxide. © 2007 Elsevier B.V.
